Born and raised in Epworth, Iowa, the McDermott brothers attended a Bare Naked Ladies concert one night at the Jones County Fair, and decided they should start a band.

The Boys of Lloyd were born that day taking their name from their father who has zero musical skills but gets to as many performances as possible.

The Boys play a little bit of everything so their audience is always entertained.

Their music makes you want to have a drink in your hand singing along.
